Royal Trek:
This is an easy short trek with good mountain views and less uphill walking than most trek . Many camping groups use this route but not many individual trekkers it gained its name because Prince charles and entourage of 90 guest scamp followers an staff trekked here.It is about five-km (a 20 minute drive by car) to the Bijayapur army camp just east of the Bijayapur Khola. The starting point for the trek is not obvious or marked, but it’s about 100m past the army camp. You will hike to villages that are part of that original trek. Embrace the stunning views of the Annapurna and Fishtail Range.
Start your hike on the route that leads to Kalikasthan village for your first stunning views of the Annapurna Ranges. Hike across the local natural paths and come across quaint villages and as you gently head uphill you will reach the village of Thulkote (Big Settlement) here you must be prepared …. For the stunning views! You can see Annapurna & Fishtail Ranges, Phewa & Begnas Lakes and aerial views of the Pokhara Valley.

Tour Itinerary
Day 1 (Pokhara to Kalikasthan [1,370m/4,496ft]: 1 hr drive, 4-5 hrs trek) ,Highlights: Amazing views of snow-peaked mountains.
Today, after breakfast we drive to Bijayapur Khola to begin our trek. Initially we start our walk for about an hour through flat paddy fields and cross the river. After crossing the river the trail starts to ascend to Kalikasthan. Lunch will be served midway through the climb. After arriving at Kalikasthan, we rest for some time then explore the surrounding areas. We spend overnight at a local guesthouse.
Day 02: Kalikasthan to Syaklung [1,730m/5,675ft]:5-6 hrs, Highlights: Amazing views of snow-peaked mountains.
After breakfast, we start walking through the villages. We walk along the ridge of the mountain which offers good views of Annapurna and Lamjung Himal. Today, we can explore many villages, its locals and the rhododendron forests. Overnight at Syaklung in local guesthouse.
Day 03: Syaklung to Chisapani [1550m/5,084ft]: 5-6 hrs, Highlights: Amazing views of snow-peaked mountains.
Walking through the Gurung village gives an opportunity to observe the local lifestyle. We move ahead playing a game of hide and seek with the rhododendron and Sal trees. Half way through the walk there is a 400m descent, then a 600m ascent for us to arrive at Chisapani. This is the best view point to see the Himalayan Panorama. You will see Dhaulagiri to the west of Annapurna. Overnight in guesthouse
Day 4: Kaundanda - Pokhara,Highlights: Back to Pokhara. Enjoy the city lifestyle
Day 04: Chisapani to Pokhara Today we walk half way down the hill to Rupatal and climb about 200 meters to arrive at Sundare Danda. Walk 15 minutes down to Begnas Tal and enjoy an hour of boating. Transfer to Pokhara, check in at a hotel and take rest or explore the Lake side. Overnight at hotel.
